Without also loving it.
Celebrating having Jaworzno for 4 months today.
He didn’t take long to make him self absolutely loveable. Such a soft guy. And how can you not love that wide chest.
The short story on how he came to me.
Well cared for by his owner and boarded at a dressage barn in the Bay Area for 7 years, he needed a new home when she passed away. Her friends looked for a suitable home for him. Somehow, I was deemed worthy.
The pictures I got of him, just quickly snapped in pasture, weren’t exactly impressive.
But he came with a low level show record and I could tell they cared greatly about this gentleman. If you’d like to ride, having a horse is an intricate part of the equation. Beggars can’t be choosers.
So I took the chance on him, and brought him to Castle Rock Farm. I don’t know, would you have taken him?
Us, three months later. Trying to get better each day, despite his flailing rider and some crazy inside hand activities.
He’s 17. The kindest horse one could ever imagine. I’m trying to make him everything he can be over the next few years. A wonderful opportunity to be loved by an Arabian.
Thank you, Teresa and Diana for giving me this chance.
A sucker for Before and Afters.
