Going Premium

The little dressage blog is growing!

To celebrate 2 1/2 years of writing and talking with you, we’ve moved on to the Premium plan.

Back where it all started – in January 2014, with La Prima, at Castle Rock Farm…

Elinor Yee Dressage On A Dime

I’m still having fun!  Are you?

reasons to use the premium plan

Big thank you to all readers who keep checking in on the blog!

Also, apologies for not keeping up sometimes.  Never thought there’d be much attention.  It is SO cool to hear from you and I LOVE to see you here!

This is not a very “wordy” site.  A place to check in and be on your way with your day.  Pretty awesome that you feel the same way!

Dressage On A Dime

I don’t know if much will change, really, with the Premium plan.  Or look all that different to you (Come on WordPress, let’s keep a good thing going!), so it’s an experiment!

Would you please do me a favor and give me a heads up if something looks different or weird?

Anything you’d like to hear about in a post – name it and we can have some fun with that!

  1. Congratulations and well done! I think your blog posts are always well timed (posting frequency is good) and just the right length. Lots of great pictures, good topics, with a friendly, chatty style. Keep it up! Clearly, many of us love reading and enjoy the exploits of Elinor and Valiosa…or any other horses who happen to wander into the mix…

    1. I think it’s great to have you here! It’s been so fun to follow along, especially after meeting up at the show too! And now with all the new horsie adventures I think it’s extra exciting – young green horse training can be exasperating and I love to read other’s stories about it!
And, yep, lots of other horses wandering in to the mix over here 😉 I need more!!

    1. Yey! I make up in wordiness for the lack of clear pictures 🙂 I think my son is fading with his interest ever since I almost rode him over haha. I have to rekindle it somehow!

  2. I love reading your blogs Elinor! How do you fit all that riding into your busy life? Hopefully we can ride together soon.

    1. I have no real idea Kathy. I used to train and race long distance running – it was a part time job for me in all honesty. Now, I’ve transferred all that time into the horses… Sigh. I love it, but my legs used to look so much better 🙂

Come out and ride!! Or, pick me up and we’ll head out for something – I’m sure we can come up with some fun!

  3. Nothing should look different, but if it does (I mean weird, not just “different”) I’ll let you know. You now have the convenience of embedding videos in your blog. I like not having to let YouTube mess up the quality of my video before I can post it…

    1. That’s a big reason for why I just never ever went for any videos before at the blog. Too much muddling around with YouTube and all sorts of stuff I don’t have time for. I’m thinking it could be really fun to have some video here and there. Not sure when I can deliver, youngest son is not exactly skilled, but you’ve definitely got the idea going! 🙂

    1. Likewise! It’s really cool to see all the different styles of blogs – it never gets old haha 🙂
I’ve changed the theme a few times before on the blog, and whenever I do, the old posts look funny.
I just ignore it and move on 🙂

    1. Laughing at this – yeah, it’s getting spendy over here! (I’m talking to the man with 8 horses, so well, I’m feeling pretty good with my one.)
For some reason there always seems to be one more new thing that has to be purchased…
Right now it looks like I’m going to have to purchase a halter fleece. Valiosa has a VERY soft nose bone and it seems to dislike wearing the halter for the short time she’s got it on each day. Sigh.
